Apple has just announced Apple Watch Series 3, and cellular connectivity is one of its new tentpole features.
We already know that the cellular version isn’t coming to Singapore (probably due to the lack of eSIM support here), but do you know the stainless steel, ceramic, and Hermès Series 3 editions aren't available here, too? Go take a look at the Apple Singapore website.
It seems like this is because all Apple Watch Series 3 models in stainless steel and ceramic cases are also GPS + cellular models. Put another way: there are no GPS-only stainless steel and ceramic Series 3 Apple Watches. What the...!?
On the plus side, this means buying the Apple Watch Series 3 here in Singapore is now much simpler: you’ve only the entry GPS-only Series 3 Watch and Nike+ Series 3 Watch models (both in aluminum case) to choose from.
