Samsung is reportedly launching a new wearable device alongside the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 13th August.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Samsung will be unveiling a new smartwatch with support for Samsung Pay. This will be Samsung's first smartwatch in almost a year after it launched the Gear S at IFA 2014. The upcoming smartwatch is believed to be the Gear A device (codenamed Orbis) which was leaked in Samsung's Gear smartwatch SDK in May.

Based on information obtained from the SDK, the Gear A will have a round face with metal frame and crown. Its bezel can be rotated to navigate the software on the smartwatch. The SDK also revealed some specs of the Gear A which include a 1.18-inch circular display (360 x 360 pixels), an accelerometer, gyrosensor, heart-rate monitor, pressure sensor, and magnetic sensor.
