Samsung’s smart ring wearable, Galaxy Ring, will be getting new features in tandem with its expanded availability worldwide, said the Korean electronics giant in a recent announcement.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Ring will come to Singapore (as seen with Samsung Singapore excitedly sharing about the smart ring on all their social media platforms).
This is in addition to 14 other markets, including our Asian friends from Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Japan. The announcement said availability would occur in "February" (no year was stated, but we assume that's next month).
That brings the ring’s availability to 52 markets and territories, which you can see here.
Second, the Samsung Galaxy Ring will be available in two new sizes: 14 and 15. It’s unclear if the two new sizes will be released here (or in the other 14 new markets). If you recall, the smart ring originally launched in nine sizes, starting from Size 5.
The colours available seem to be the same as its launch colours: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.

Samsung also said it’s adding more features through new updates to the Samsung Health app that controls its personalised health and environment data. As seen in the announcement, they are:
- Sleep Environment Report: The Samsung Health app produces a sleep report using data collected from wearables (like the ring). The report tells users how to optimise their bedtime conditions and surroundings. Information used includes temperature, humidity, light intensity, and air quality. SmartThings-compatible home appliances can also automatically adjust settings to suit the recommendations in the report.
- Sleep Time Guidance: This service suggests an optimal sleeping time customised to your sleep patterns, habits, and conditions. It also considers your daily routines.
- Mindfulness Tracker: Mood monitoring, breathing exercises, meditation guides, and all the little things to help users achieve better sleep.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is slated to arrive in Singapore from 23 January 2025 onwards, with pricing and availability information to come when Samsung Singapore is ready to share.
The ring’s availability here coincides with Samsung’s major H1 2025 announcement, Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, which is said to showcase the next generation of its flagship smartphones (Galaxy S25 series).
