The upcoming Apple Watch Series 6 may not sport a Micro-LED display.

According to tipster @L0vetodream, the Apple Watch Series 6 will continue to use the OLED panel from JDI. JDI has been supplying OLED panels for the Apple Watch models over the past few years.

A report last year by Economic Daily News suggested that the Apple Watch Series 6 could be the first Apple product to feature a Micro-LED display. Apple is reportedly accelerating its plans to make Mini-LED and Micro-LED displays. It is said to have invested US$344 million in a new plant to produce the next-generation display technologies.

The Apple Watch Series 6 is rumoured to come with native sleep tracking feature, faster performance, improved water resistance, blood oxygen detection, better ECG features and a panic attack detection feature.
