LTE variant of Samsung Gear S3 Frontier launching this Saturday
Samsung Singapore announced that the LTE variant of its Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch will be available in Singapore this Saturday, 14th January 2017. The LTE variant of the Gear S3 Frontier allows users to make phone calls and receive messages without their mobile phones.
Samsung Singapore announced that the LTE variant of its Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch will be available in Singapore this Saturday, 14th January 2017.
The LTE variant of the Gear S3 Frontier uses an embedded Gemalto eSIM, which enables users to make phone calls and receive messages without their mobile phones.
The Gear S3 frontier (LTE) will be available at a recommended retail price of $598 at local telecommunication operators Singtel and Starhub. That's just a small price differential from the non-LTE variants that retail for S$548.
From 14 January 2017 to 15 February 2017, Samsung will also be holding a launch promotion for the Gear S3 frontier (LTE). Customers who purchase a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge during the launch promotion period will be able to enjoy $50 off their purchase of the Gear S3 frontier (LTE) and be entitled to receive a complimentary strap worth $68.
