Android Headlines has received what are allegedly leak promotional materials of the Pixel Watch 3, and from the looks of it, Google's latest smartwatch will have numerous significant improvements over its predecessor.
Starting with the screen, the Pixel Watch 3 will incorporate Google’s Actua Display technology, which debut on the Pixel 8 Pro. The screen offers an impressive 2,000 nits of peak brightness on both the 41mm and 45mm models, which is a major upgrade from the 1,000 nits of the Pixel Watch 2.
Charging capabilities have also been enhanced, with Google claiming a 20% faster charging speed for the 41mm model compared to its predecessor. However, since the 45mm model is a new addition to the lineup, no comparative charging data is available.

Battery life remains consistent with previous models, offering approximately 24 hours of use with the always-on display activated, or up to 36 hours when Battery Saver Mode is enabled.
Users of Nest doorbells and cameras will be happy to learn that, the Pixel Watch 3 will be able to view Nest camera feeds directly on the watch face.
According to the report, the watch will come with an active band (in two sizes), and a USB-C charger featuring a secure pin system similar to that of the Pixel Watch 2.

Google has also introduced a morning brief feature, which provides a daily summary of key health and fitness metrics, including sleep data and a readiness score. The new cardio load feature measures heart exertion and contributes to the overall readiness assessment.
The Pixel Watch 3 will reportedly also feature advanced features for runners, including custom run-building capabilities, saved workout access, and audio and haptic cues for pace management. The watch will also offer insights to improve running form, including data on cadence, stride, and vertical oscillation.
The Pixel Watch 3 is expected to be announced at the Made by Google event on 13 August, alongside other products such as the Pixel 9 series and Pixel Buds Pro 2.
