Google is expected to announce its next smartwatch in October.
9to5Google reports that the Google Pixel Watch 2, which might not be the final marketing name for the smartwatch, is slated to launch alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in October.
While the first-generation Pixel Watch uses a four-year-old processor, the Pixel Watch 2 is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1. In terms of software, you can expect Google to bring the Material You theme to wearOS.
The Pixel Watch 2 could come with a built-in skin temperature sensor and a continuous Electrodermal Sensor (cEDA) for stress tracking. There is unlikely to be changes to the design though screen bezels might be thinner.
