Fitbit could be planning a new design and colour display for its next Charge fitness tracker.
Based on purported renders by @evleaks, the Fitbit Charge 5 fitness tracker comes with a curved colour display, two capacitive controls and three colour options (dark charcoal, teal, cream).
@evleaks did not reveal the specs of the Fitbit Charge 5, but it is likely to have the usual suite of health-monitoring features such as heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and blood oxygen saturation tracking.
Now, if you've been following Fitbit's lineup, you'll note that their Versa 3 is their most premium wearable product in the form of a standalone smartwatch device. The Charge series, on the other hand, is more of a fitness band device that you probably choose to wear during workouts while preferring a traditional analogue watch of your choice at all other times. The Fitbit Charge 4 as it stands now is a great device as we found out last year in our video review below. Can the Charge 5 offer colour and not erode the other qualities that the Charge 4 now boasts? We'll find out in due course.
