Casio G-SHOCK MTG-B2000XMG.
Building upon the popularity of Casio’s G-SHOCK MTG-B2000 (review here) is a special edition variant with unique patterns and construction.
The new MTG-B2000XMG is a limited make of Casio’s shock-resistant watch, with a multicoloured carbon bezel made by randomly laminated carbon and coloured glass fibres. Casio said that this yields a colouration of “Mystic Mountain”, where it resembles different strata of colours created by oxidized minerals built up over time due to volcanic activity and tectonic movement.

The inner edge of the bezel has rainbow ion plating, while the buckle and band loop uses gold-coloured ion plating. These choices help to complement the random multicoloured design of the MTG-B2000XMG.
The random application of its appearance also ensures that no two designs on each MTG-B2000XMG are the same.

Like the base version, MTG-B2000XMG comes with some of its standard G-SHOCK features like solar charging, Smartphone Link, and a high-brightness LED.
MTG-B2000XMG is available on Casio’s official e-store and in physical stores come 1 January 2022 at S$1,699. You'll need to be a Casio ID Member to purchase it.
