Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shares his predictions on the major design overhaul of the next Apple Watch.

According to the analyst, the Apple Watch Series 10 will come in two bigger sizes and feature a slimmer case.

Kuo thinks Apple will increase the case size of its watches from 45mm to 49mm for the larger model, and from 41mm to 45mm for the smaller model.

While these figures refer to the case height of the Apple Watch, a taller case also means it can accommodate a larger screen. To put this into perspective, the current Apple Watch Ultra features a 49mm case.

As for the next Apple Watch Ultra model, Kuo says the specs will remain the same and Apple might introduce new case colour options if production yields meet expectations.

Kuo's predictions corroborate what Bloomberg reported last year. Apple is believed to be working on the biggest revamp of the Apple Watch which will include a thinner watch case, magnetic band attachments, and blood pressure monitoring technology.

The introduction of magnetic band attachments suggests that the new Apple Watch models could come with a redesigned band connectorExisting watch bands will likely not be compatible as the band connector is likely to be "completely redesigned".
