Apple will likely launch its Vision Pro headset internationally before WWDC 2024

This year's WWDC could be centred around visionOS.

It could be coming to Singapore soon.

According to famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will likely launch the Vision Pro headset in major markets outside the US before WWDC 2024.

Since WWDC usually takes place in early June, it's safe to assume that this means that the Vision Pro will be available in major markets soon.

Kuo says that the reason for this is that Apple wants to share new details about visionOS at WWDC, and this would only make sense if the Vision Pro is available outside of the US. Otherwise, there's little incentive for developers to pay attention.

However, Apple has yet to announce when the Vision Pro will be available outside the US. But according to Bloomberg's Mark Guman, he thinks the UK, Canada, and China could be next.

As for now, the Vision Pro headset will be available to pre-order in the US on 19 January and retail availability will start on 2 February.

Apple will likely use the US launch to fine-tune its sales processes and find out how best to get early adopters acquainted with the device because the Vision Pro is unlike any other computing device or even AR/VR headset.

It's anyone's guess as to when Apple will launch the Vision Pro headset in Singapore, but I'm optimistic that it could be soon. Despite our size, Singapore has always been an important market and we are also one of the eight cities to host an Apple Vision Pro developer lab.
