The Apple Watch Nike+ was announced alongside Apple's Apple Watch Series 2 last September. And now, there's a new limited edition version called the Apple Watch NikeLab.

The Apple Watch NikeLab distinguishes itself by having a special exclusive neutral-tone "Light Bone/Black" sports band that has a stamped NikeLab Innovation x Innovators logo stamped onto the pin. Otherwise, it is very much like your standard Apple Watch Nike+.

It will be available in 38mm and 42mm sizes and the case only comes in Space Grey.

Inside, the Apple Watch NikeLab has the same internals as the Apple Watch Series 2, and that means it is powered by the same Apple S2 dual-core processor and that it features a built-in GPS. Water resistance is up to 50 meters.

The new Apple Watch NikeLab goes on sale on 27 April and will be available at Nike.com, NikeLab stores, and at a special pop-up store at the Apple Watch Store at Isetan Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

This means you'll have to order online and ship it here if you want to get your hands on this limited edition watch. A small price to pay for some exclusivity, yeah?

No confirmation yet on pricing, but it will likely be priced similarly to the Apple Watch Nike+, which means US$369 for the 38mm version and US$399 for the 42mm version.
