Apple has introduced two new health-tracking features, hypertension notifications and Sleep Score, on the latest Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11. The good news is these aren’t limited to Apple’s new wearables.
Which Apple Watches also get Hypertension Notification?
According to Apple’s press release, the feature will also be available on the Apple Watch Series 9 and later, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and newer, through the upcoming watchOS 26 update.
While watchOS 26 is scheduled to roll out on 15 September 2025, hypertension notifications are unlikely to be available at the update’s launch, as it is still pending clearance from the FDA and other regulators.
Apple said it will be available in more than 150 countries and regions later this month.
Which Apple Watches get Sleep Score?
Unlike hypertension notifications, Sleep Score will be available on an even wider range of older Apple Watch models. This includes the Apple Watch models that are compatible with watchOS 26:
- Apple Watch SE (2nd-gen)
- Apple Watch Series 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10
- Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2
