Staying connected just got a lot easier for visitors to Singapore.
M1 Limited (M1) has just announced the launch of the M1 Prepaid Tourist eSIM card for tourists visiting Singapore. A first for Singapore, these eSIM cards can be used to activate tourist prepaid plans on a iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, 11-inch iPad Pro or 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd gen.), giving them data network access without the need to switch out their physical nano-SIM card.
The eSIM card can be purchased at selected Changi Recommends counters, any Meet & Greet counters, and Cheers convenience stores in Changi Airport. They will also be found in all M1 Shops across the island.
Visitor arrivals to Singapore hit a record high of 18.5 million last year and this is an important segment we serve through our prepaid cards. The eSIM enables us to give tourists an easy way to buy our prepaid service without having to handle a physical SIM. We are incredibly excitedthat the M1 Prepaid Tourist eSIM card is the first in Singapore, an even simpler option that gives tourists a better experience when they use prepaid to stay connected on mobile.
