M1 has announced a new exclusive iPhone swap offer for customers available exclusively at M1 Shops from 20 May to 15 July 2024.
Under the 'iPhone On Us' scheme, customers can bring their iPhone 12 Series, iPhone 13 Series or iPhone 14 Series (in working condition) to an M1 shop and swap it to get an iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB at totally no upfront or monthly cost.
They do however have to subscribe to M1’s new iPhone plan that comes with unlimited data for S$79.95 a month. They will also receive 600 minutes of call time and 100 SMS messages.
We tried reaching out to find out if the subscription period for swapping an iPhone 14 series would be the same as an iPhone 12 but received no response from M1. We will update this article with more information if they respond.
*Update*
According to M1, the contract length is 36 months, which is longer than the normal 24 month period most of us are used to. Additionally there isn't a shortened contract period if you swap a later model iPhone like an iPhone 14 Pro Max. M1 added that there was no contract lock-in period and early termination would result in the customer incurring no penalties but just needing to pay off the remaining device fees.
