If you are currently holding onto a $0/month Flexi Plan from Circles.Life (lucky you, as sign-ups for that plan ended a few years ago), you might want to double-check your account and make sure it hasn't been automatically upgraded to a paying plan.

According to some subscribers, Circles.Life has sent out emails to subscribers (as seen from a HWZ Forums member's post here) informing them that the $0/month Flexi Plan was being discontinued and that there was a promotion to upgrade to a 40GB plan for $9/month.

Other customers, however, noted that the email they received didn't even mention a choice, as they had been apparently automatically upgraded to the same 40GB $9/month plan.

For those who were lucky enough to sign up for the free Flexi Plan and haven't been upgraded, don't panic. Circles.Life's FAQ states that if you choose not to switch to the upgraded plan, you will be able to remain in your current plan until further notice.
There are some reasons to want to upgrade to this new plan, including more data (40GB versus 1GB), increased talk time (300 mins incoming and outgoing calls) and slightly more SMSes at 25 compared to 10. The new plan also offers access to Circles.Life's Circle of Joy loyalty program, which offers rewards like data bonuses, bill waivers, and even tech gadgets that can be redeemed with points.
Unfortunately, these upgrades are probably not what the target audience for the $0/month plan is interested in, and Circles.Life might see an exodus of (non-paying but still active users) subscribers if the $0/month Flexi Plan is eventually terminated entirely.

Circles.Life also said that they will be phasing out the $5/month plan too, which offered 2GB of data. But if it's any consolation, Circles.Life states that if you choose not to switch to the new plan same thing, you will still be able to retain your $5/month plan until further notice.
There's no clear timeline as of yet on when these plans will be phased out, aside from a vague "in the near future" on Circles.Life's FAQ website here and here.
