Apple has just released iOS 17.3, which introduces a new security feature called Stolen Device Protection, designed to protect you from thieves who want to take over your iPhone as well as banking apps, and anything important stored in your iCloud account.

If this sounds new to you, check out our Stolen Device Protection guide here. But in a nutshell, it makes it more difficult for thieves to change your passcode when you are away from familiar locations such as home and work.

Apart from that, iOS 17.3 also includes an important fix that patches a WebKit vulnerability that may have already been actively exploited.

In addition to all these, iOS 17.3 also adds a new Unity wallpaper in celebration of Black History Month and collaborative playlists on Apple Music.

To update your phones, go to Settings, General, and then Software Update.
