In bundling all its international launches together for MWC 2025, Xiaomi has also decided to update its premium tablet experience and introduce the new Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.
Differences between Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro

The primary differences between the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are their chipset choices and wired charging speeds, with minor differences (e.g. Wi-Fi versions).
Xiaomi Pad 7 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both are high-end, early 2024 processors that can easily handle productivity and entertainment needs on Android tablets.
Because of the chipset choices, Xiaomi Pad 7 has 45W wired turbo-charging, while Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro uses 67W wired HyperCharge.

Also, the Xiaomi Pad 7 supports up to Wi-Fi 6e, while Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has Wi-Fi 7 support.
Two specific versions of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro are available. The standard one has the same glass found on its Pad 7 sibling, and there's an optional Matte Glass version of Pad 7 Pro targeted at creative professionals. The latter uses anti-reflective glass and a coating to reduce glare.
The tablets are otherwise similar in every other way, as seen below.

Both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro use the same 11.2-inch “crystal clear display” (3,200 x 2,136 pixels resolution). They host a ton of flagship-tier perks, like its maximum refresh rate of up to 144Hz, 800-nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support, Adaptive HDR compatibility, and 68 million colour gamut, all within its 3:2 aspect ratio.
The panels are also TÜV Rheinland-certified for Low Blue Light (hardware solution), Flicker-Free, and Circadian-Friendly. These certifications help Xiaomi keep its promise that the tablets are comfortable to use over an extended time.
To even get that far with uptime, both have an 8,850mAh battery.

Both quad speaker arrays are equally polished and support Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio.
Like its latest smartphones, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro feature HyperOS 2, which comes with Xiaomi HyperAI tools like AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, AI Art (via Mi Canvas), and many more.
It sounds like these would be heavy-duty tablets, but Xiaomi still managed to make them sleek with a 6.18mm thin profile in a 500g unibody aluminium block.
While they may not have the same Wi-Fi support, both are on par for their USB (3.2 Gen 1) and Bluetooth (5.4) connectivity.

To complete these devices, video calls and photo-taking are handled via a 50MP rear camera (f/1.8, PDAF) and 32MP always-on front camera (f/2.2 aperture).

There’s also the Xiaomi Focus Pen (in White), which has a magnetically attached stylus with 8,192 pressure levels and low input latency.
There’s also the Cover that helps protect the tablets from daily wear and tear.
Of course, tablets also work with Xiaomi’s other new devices, such as its phones and earbuds.
