When SamMobile reported two months ago that Samsung was working on an 18.4-inch Android tablet, we took the report with a pinch of salt. Today, stills taken from a promotional video seem to convince us that such a tablet is indeed coming real soon!

The 18.4-inch Android tablet is marketed as the Galaxy View and is possibly the first tablet from the company to do away with a physical home button. This means that consumers will have to use the on-screen navigation buttons, which makes sense since it is ridiculous to be putting a huge home button on the bezel.

The Galaxy View is also seen with a stand that folds out from the back at any angle for typing or watching movies. It also has a handle near the top on its back for you to carry it around. It is reportedly designed for use at home, offices and schools.

With the promotional video ready for primetime, we reckon that Samsung may make an official announcement soon and its timing could coincide with the rumored availability of Apple's 12.9-inch iPad Pro in early November.
