Weeks ago, there were talks that Apple's rumoured OLED iPad Pros would come with huge price hikes of around 60% to 80%. Yikes.
However, we now have reports claiming that the price hikes would be significantly lower than what earlier reports said.
According to the DigiTimes, the price increase for these new OLED iPad Pros would be up to US$160.
In other words, this would mean the 11-inch OLED iPad Pro would have a starting price of around US$960 (~S$1,289), whereas the starting price of the 12.9-inch version could be around US$1,260 (~S$1,692).
This is much more reasonable than earlier reports which claimed that the starting prices of the 11 and 12.9-inch OLED iPad Pro would be around US$1,500 (~S$2,015) and US$1,800 (~S$2,418) respectively.
At any rate, we might not have to wait long to find out which is right because the word on the street is that Apple will be unveiling its new iPads in late March.
