HTC's best ever product roadmap with "some huge surprises" this year may include its own branded tablet.

According to tipster @upleaks, HTC is working on its own tablet which is based on Google Nexus 9. The tablet is said to have almost the same dimensions, but will come with different specs. In addition, HTC will not introduce the tablet this quarter.

The Taiwanese company took a break from manufacturing tablets three years ago after introducing the Flyer, which is a 7-inch Android tablet with a stylus called the HTC Pen. It returned to the tablet scene recently by partnering with Google to make the Nexus 9.

Besides a potential tablet offering, HTC is also preparing to unveil its next flagship smartphone, the One (M9) at an event on March 1st in Barcelona
