Amazon just recently announced a new lineup of tablets in the shape of upgraded Kindle Fire versions. And before the device has even been shipped out, news about the products has started trickling out.

First up is the fact that the Kindle Fire's default web-search browser will be Microsoft Bing, which is surprising since the prior models had Google search as the default. However, the option to switch to either Google and Yahoo for search requirements is available.

In addition, after taking consumer feedback into account, Amazon has also announced that users will be able to opt out of the home and lock screen advertisements for US$15. Initially, there was going to be no provision for such an option.
