Lenovo announced its plans to bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to its business-centric ThinkPad Tablet sometime in Q2 this year. No specific dates are given at the moment.

*Update: Lenovo has confirmed that it will start rolling out the Android 4.0 ICS over the air (OTA) update in May. Besides offering a faster web browser and voice input for onscreen dictation, the update also will bring Face Unlock to the ThinkPad Tablet, which is absent on the first Android 4.0 tablet, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer.
Lenovo is the latest vendor to announce that one of its devices, the ThinkPad Tablet will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update sometime in Q2 this year.
The Android 4.0 update is expected to deliver user interface, connectivity, application and multimedia improvements on the device. In addition, Android 4.0 will improve encryption layers for data and email security, which is likely to boost the appeal of the ThinkPad Tablet among enterprise users.
