New details about the iOS/iPadOS 15 entitlement for apps to access more RAM have been revealed.
According to developers of the graphic design app Artstudio Pro, iPadOS 15 will allow apps to use up to 12GB of RAM on the highest-end iPad Pro (16GB RAM), and up to 6GB RAM on the other M1-powered iPad Pro models.
Currently, apps are limited to just 5GB RAM of usage on the top-end iPad Pro model. If an app attempts to use more than 5GB of RAM, it will crash.
