At long last, it's finally possible to run iPhone apps on your iPad when docked to a keyboard.

Earlier this morning, Apple announced iPadOS 15 which contains a whole bunch of enhancements including an overhauled multitasking system and widgets for your home screen.

One feature that didn't get mentioned was that iPadOS 15 will finally enable iPhone apps to run in landscape mode.

Prior to iPadOS 15, iPhone apps will only launch in portrait mode on the iPad. This was a problem if you were using the iPad with a Smart Keyboard or Magic Keyboard because you couldn't rotate your iPad.

It's a small change but it makes the iPad a more user-friendly device especially if you are using it with a keyboard accessory.
