Google Rolls Out Android 4.4 KitKat for Nexus 7 and Nexus 10

Google just announced that the Android 4.4 KitKat update will be rolling out to the Wi-Fi models of Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 from today. Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 versions with mobile data will be getting the update soon.

Close to two weeks after unveiling Android 4.4 Kit Kat and LG Nexus 5, Google today announced that the Wi-Fi models of Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 will be getting the update today. Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 with mobile data will be getting the update soon. 

We did a check on our Nexus 7 (2013) a few moments ago, but the software update has yet to arrive. Google did not state how long it will take for a global roll out, but it is expected to take days, if not weeks. In the meantime, you can check out the best features of Android 4.4 Kit Kat here.
