Apple today announced the availability of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for the iPad.

Both professional editing apps feature an all-new touch interface to enhance iPad users' workflows. For example, a new jog wheel for Final Cut Pro lets iPad users interact with content in completely new ways. They can navigate the Magnetic Timeline, move clips and make fast frame-accurate edits with finger taps. With the Apple Pencil, iPad users can draw and write directly on top of video content.

For Logic Pro, iPad users can enjoy the all-new sound browser that utilises dynamic filtering to find the perfect sound. The sound browser shows all available instrument patches, audio patches, plug-in presets, samplesm and loops in a single location.

Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for the iPad will be available on the App Store from 24 May at S$6.98/mth or S$69/year with a one-month free trial. Final Cut Pro is compatible with iPad models running the M1 chip or newer, and Logic Pro is supported on iPad models with A12 chip or newer. Both apps require iPadOS 16.4.
