Acer Unleashes Two New Windows 8 Tablets at Computex 2012
With tablets being all the rage these days and Windows 8 just months away, Acer has announced two new Iconia tablets at Computex 2012 - the W510 and the W700. The latter is dubbed as the best performing Windows 8 tablet, so check out what's great about it.

Tablets are all the rage these days and Acer has just announced two new Windows 8 tablets at Computex 2012, the Iconia W510 and W700. Details are pretty scarce at the moment - Acer has declined to reveal the exact specs of these new tablets - but here’s what we know now.
The Acer Iconia W510.
The Iconia W510 has a 10.1-inch IPS display and has a detachable chicklet keyboard dock that extends total battery life to around 18 hours. The tablet itself has a a SIM card slot, a microSD slot, micro USB and HDMI ports. Also, the dock is interesting in that it can rotate up to 295 degrees, which makes it great for presentations.
The Acer Iconia W700.
The Iconia W700, on the other hand, is dubbed as the world’s best performance Windows 8 tablet. It has a 11.6-inch screen and highlights include a full HD display, a Thunberbolt port, three USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI port and a five megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet was demoed playing a full HD movie clip whilst running games in the background and one could switch from the movie clip to the game without a hitch or any signs of lag. The Iconia W700 also comes with a dock, but that dock only holds the tablet and doesn't extend battery life, nor does it have a keyboard.
