Samsung has introduced its 2025 premium tablets with the Galaxy Tab S11 series, consisting of the 11-inch Galaxy Tab S11 and the 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
Together, both Galaxy Tab S11 series tablets improved its handling, with additional multi-tasking features (with and without Samsung DeX), a better S Pen experience, and Galaxy AI pumped through its electronic veins.

The main difference between the two tablets are their size, with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 coming in at 11 inches with its 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel (2,560 x1,600 pixels). The bigger, badder sibling is the 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which has higher resolution owing to its larger display (2,960 x 1,848 pixels), and additional Anti-Reflection coating to reduce glare.

Naturally, the difference in size also mean different battery capacities, with Galaxy Tab S11 getting 8,400mAh while Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra comes with 11,600mAh. As premium tablets, they both still have 45W wired charging.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also features a slimmer design, with 5.2mm bezels and a 5.1mm profile.
Both are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset.
Multi-tasking, S Pen, and Galaxy AI all in one

Both tablets run on the latest Samsung One UI 8 interface, based on Android 16. It also means it has Gemini Live (press and hold the side button), Writing Assist, Circle To Search with Google, and movable compact app overlays that can be a floating window.
The redesigned S Pen. It’s glorious.
Crucially, Samsung redesigned its compatible S Pen with a new cone-shaped pen tip. It allows for more angles and better pen control, on top of a hexagonal body to improve ergonomics. Quick Tools for S Pen is still present, which lets users “float” the S Pen off the tablet surface and bring up a menu for editing and adjustments.
Samsung DeX, the PC-like interface for its tablets, got upgraded with Extended Mode. You can drag and drop active apps onto a secondary screen in one continuous motion a a regular PC setup with connected dual screens. Even without PC add-ons, Samsung DeX also offers four “workspaces” for you to get four instances, helping you organise all your relevant apps, exactly the way you left them open on your screen.
To showcase the app ecosystem on Samsung’s tablets, the Koreans have third-party app tie-ups with various tablet-first app makers. There’s a one-year free version of Goodnotes app, a 6-month free trial and 20% off first subscription with Clip Studio Paint, a 66% discount for LumaFusion paired with a one-month Creator Pass, and finally a one-month free trial of Notion AI’s Plus plan.
