You can view EXIF metadata of images in the iOS 15 Photos app

iOS 15 provides a richer info pane in the Photos app where you can view information about the photo.

The Photos app in iOS 15 will show more information about the images you take on the iPhone.

When you swipe up on a photo or tap the new info button, you can view Exchangeable Image File Format (EXIF) data such as the camera, lens, shutter speed and file size. iOS 15 also allows you to edit the date taken or location, add a caption, and learn about items detected by Visual Look Up.

Unless you use a third-party app to view the EXIF data, there is currently no built-in function or tool on the iPhone to do so.
