Nokia's re-entry into the smartphone market may not be impressive at the start, but it seems that it may be able to end 2017 well.

Based on a presentation slide from a Malaysian distributor Avaxx, consumers can expect HMD to launch Nokia Android smartphones by Q2 2017. There will be up to 7 models available by the end of the year across the entry, mid and high-end segments.

As Nokia is delivering a keynote at Mobile World Congress 2017 next month, it is expected to announce two midrange smartphone models. Another four phones are said to be planned for release between Q2 and Q3; the four models are expected to sport display panels from LG Display, Century Technology and Innolux. The display sizes are said to range from 5 to 5.7-inches at Quad-HD or Full-HD resolutions.
