According to tech enthusiast portal GSMArena and fansite XiaomiUI, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 was teased on Xiaomi China’s official website.

The company published a banner that (roughly) said “See you this month” (in Mandarin Chinese). The image also featured the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2’s name at the top, next to a picture of a box with “Xiaomi HyperOS” that was mostly covered in a red, satin-like cloth.

In true teaser style, the link to the banner is now broken, and the website’s homepage no longer features it.

This suggests that the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 may be released earlier than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Fold7. Previously, Samsung said its foldables are due “this summer”.

In contrast, Xiaomi’s Mix Flip 2 is scheduled to arrive in June 2025, and we’re less than two weeks away from July.

XiaomiUI stated that the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with a 6.85-inch LTPO folding display. The battery may have a capacity of up to 5,100mAh, and the phone will have IPX8-rated water resistance.
