WhatsApp rolls out picture-in-picture for video calls on iOS app
iPhone users can now multitask during a WhatsApp call without the video being paused.
WhatsApp is rolling out an update to its iOS app which allows iPhone users to multitask during a video call.
The Picture in Picture feature allows you to minimise the video call into a small floating window when you are accessing another app. This feature is already supported on other video calling apps such as FaceTime.
There are also other new features in the iOS update including the ability to add captions when sending documents, and support for longer group subjects and descriptions.
