WhatsApp group admins can decide who can join a chat

WhatsApp just announced two new features for group chats.

When sharing a group's invite link or making the group joinable in a community, an admin can choose to allow or deny someone from joining the group. 

Another new feature is the ability to search a contact's name to see what groups you have in common with someone else.

The two new features will be rolling out globally over the next few weeks.
