While it's not quite as slim as the Honor Magic V2 at 9.9mm and 4.7mm when folded and unfolded respectively, it's still thinner than the other competitors as seen in the table below.

The X Fold3 Pro is relatively durable, with Armor Glass that's made out of microcrystal glass protecting the 6.53-inch front display, with increased drop resistance. The Armor Back Cover uses Glass Fiber and UPE Fiber for protection while keeping the weight down.

Inside, the main 8.03-inch 2K+ screen has a whopping 4,500-nits local peak brightness. Both the inner and outer displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as 1Hz refresh rate Always-On Display, HDR10+, and more.
Additionally, the Carbon Fiber Ultra Durable Hinge is certified for 500,000 folds and allows the device to flex and bend freely between 60 to 120 degrees. Furthermore, the X Fold3 Pro has an IPX8 water resistance rating, which is on par with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5.

The phone runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, which are promising signs.
Partnering with Zeiss yet again, Vivo is utilising a VCS True Color main camera, ZEISS telephoto camera, and ultra wide-angle camera for the X Fold3 Pro, powered by the customized 6nm Vivo V3 Chip that is said to offer 30% higher energy efficiency.

The main camera comes with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and utilises Vivo's Camera-Bionic Spectrum for increased light intake. The telephoto camera has a f/2.57 aperture with 3X optical zoom and 100X digital zoom.
The X Fold3 Pro also has features like Telephoto Sunshot and a Telephoto Macro that allows for a minimum focus distance of 0.15m and a magnification ratio of 1:1.

The large 5,700mAh battery inside will be able to take advantage of 100W wired Dual-Cell FlashCharge charging through the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, along with 50W Wireless FlashCharge charging options.
There are also AI-powered tools in the phone, including a handy Al Note Assist feature that streamlines organization and improves note-taking. The Al Global Translation feature translates content instantly on the current page so there's no need to switch apps. There's also Al Transcript Assist, which can convert recordings into text quickly and easily.
