While Samsung prepares to resume the global sales of its Galaxy Note7, one U.S telco is considering not selling it at all.

A source told Bloomberg that AT&T - the second biggest U.S telco and third biggest customer of Samsung - is considering to halt sales of the Galaxy Note7 over concerns about the phone's safety. It is likely that an incident involving a purported replaced Galaxy Note7 exploding on a U.S passenger plane set off alarm bells.

Samsung released a statement on its website that it will "move quickly to investigate the reported case to determine the cause" and share the findings as soon as possible. It is not known at the time of publication when local telcos and retailers will resume sales of the Galaxy Note7.
