With the release of Android 8.0 Oreo, the first question on many Android users would be the availability of the software update for their phones. After receiving many queries on its upgrade roadmap and plans, Sony Mobile decided to publish the smartphone models which will be getting the Android 8.0 update. They are:
- Xperia X
- Xperia X Performance
- Xperia XZ
- Xperia X Compact
- Xperia XZ Premium
- Xperia XZs
- Xperia XA1
- Xperia XA1 Ultra
- Xperia Touch
- Xperia XA1 Plus
Sony Mobile did not mention any specific release dates for the above devices. The company also states that it is working hard to bring the Android 8.0 update to as many devices as possible.
