Specs of HTC's upcoming flagship smartphone leaked
Two tipsters have shared information on the specs of HTC's upcoming flagship smartphone, the U12.
Despite its ongoing struggles to stay relevant in the phone space, HTC is going ahead to launch its next flagship phone, the U12 and some of its specs have been leaked by two tipsters.
According to a Russian journalist and well-known tipster LlabTooFeR, the HTC U12 phone will come with a dual-camera setup on the back. The main camera consists of a 12MP image sensor while the secondary camera is either an 8MP or 16MP image sensor.
The HTC U12 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 mobile platform, 6GB RAM, Android 8.0 Oreo, Sense 10 and Edge Sense 2.0. It is expected to sport a 6-inch Quad-HD LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
Other rumored specs include IP68 water/dust resistance, metallic frame with glass front and back, 5G and dual-SIM support. The U12 is expected to be available in April for about US$880 (~S$1,160).
