The Sony Xperia Z4 may be available in markets outside Japan under a different model name.

According to a leaked packing insert from an official accessory for the Xperia Z4, there is a mention of an unannounced Xperia Z3+ alongside the Xperia Z4. Since the accessory is designed for the two models, it is highly likely that the Xperia Z3+ will be the global variant of the Xperia Z4.

As the global variant, the Xperia Z3+ will sport the same design, hardware, software and specs which include a 5.2-inch Full-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space.

Will there be another different flagship smartphone to be announced? Russian tech blog Hi-Tech seems to think so, and the leaked database of internal Sony documents hints that the new flagship smartphone will come with a full-metal design and a fingerprint sensor.
