Following the report of a new ultra-low energy chip and "action button", Apple might have another trick up its sleeve for the solid-state button on the iPhone 15 Pro.

A source provided more information on how iOS 17 will have a new toggle in Settings to allow users to customise the sensitivity of the solid-state button to suit different usage scenarios. This suggests the sensitivity of the solid-state button can be tweaked to work when a case is on or when the user is wearing gloves.

Besides a "buttonless" design, the iPhone 15 Pro is said to have other exclusive features such as a titanium chassis, periscope lens, more RAM, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and higher speed data transfers with USB-C.
