Samsung is said to be bringing the megapixel race on smartphones to the next level with the next Galaxy S flagship phone.

According to a tipster on a Korean forum, one of the development models for the Galaxy S21 has a 150MP main sensor which will be complemented with a 64MP telephoto lens, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP macro lens and a 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor.

The tipster added that there are two versions of the above model being tested at the moment. One model has optical image stabilisation (OIS) on the main and telephoto lens as well as the front-facing camera, while the other model has OIS for the main, telephoto and ultra-wide angle lens.

Since Samsung already confirmed that it is working on higher resolution camera sensors, it is possible that the Galaxy S21 Ultra would come with the 150MP camera.
