Samsung's Galaxy A (2017) phones come with water resistance and USB Type-C

Samsung just unveiled its latest Galaxy A (2017) series which include three phone models - the Galaxy A7, the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A3. 

The Galaxy A (2017) series come with a premium metal frame, 3D glass back, Always on Display, IP68 water and dust resistance, Android 6.0.16 Marshmallow, LTE CAT 6 support, Samsung Pay, USB Type-C port, a fingerprint sensor and a microSD memory card slot which supports cards up to 256GB.

The Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 share similar specs such as a 1.9GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space, fast charging, and 16-megapixel f/1.9 front and rear-facing cameras. The Galaxy A7 has a 5.7-inch Full-HD display and a 3,600mAh battery while the Galaxy A5 has a 5.2-inch Full-HD display and a 3,000mAh battery. 

The Galaxy A3 sports a 4.7-inch HD display, a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage space, a 13-megapixel f/1.9 camera, an 8-megapixel f/1.9 front-facing camera and a 2,350mAh battery.

Samsung states that the Galaxy A (2017) series will be available in Russia in early January and availability would be expanded to global markets.
