The latest rumor suggests that Samsung has switched the launches of the foldable Galaxy X and Galaxy S10 around for 2019.

According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung will be unveiling the foldable Galaxy X smartphone at CES 2019 in January with the handset hitting retail shelves the following month. However, Samsung is likely to manufacture between 300,000 to 500,000 units of the Galaxy X.

Having said that, the Galaxy S10 will stick to the usual launch schedule where it will be announced at MWC 2019. In addition, Samsung could be launching a third Galaxy S10 variant next year.

South Korean publication The Bell reported in May that the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy X phones could be launched in January 2019 and February 2019 respectively. Previous rumors claimed that the Galaxy X will have a 7.3-inch OLED display which can fold inward. The foldable display reportedly has a curvature of 1.0R.
