Samsung has announced an update to its “Try Galaxy” demo experience, and the new update lets you pretend you’re on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 — by using two iPhones.
The updated demo experience is designed to convert non-Samsung users to its ecosystem, with Try Galaxy showcasing clips and demos of its flagship-tier devices, like the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy Z Flip5, and a sample of its One UI 5.1 Android-based operating system.
Among its new demos is one that lets you “try out” the Galaxy Z Fold5 by connecting two iPhones together. Doing so allows you to trial a small handful of its big-screen demos.
Here's the URL to the demo.
To explore Try Galaxy, you’ll need at least one iPhone 7 or newer, and Apple’s Safari web browser. Try Galaxy is a web app so there’s no need to install anything — a quick scan of the website’s QR code and pinning the bookmark to your iPhone’s Home Screen should do the trick. This lets you experience the non-Z Fold content, demos, and clips, on top of a sample of One UI's design language and interface.
For the Galaxy Z Fold5 demo, you will need two iPhones (either get your backup iPhone, or borrow a friend’s). Both iOS phones are paired via a QR code, which will simulate a single, continuous display on both Apple handsets.
