Samsung could be launching the Galaxy S21 models in the second week of January.
According to tipster @jon_prosser, Samsung is said to be holding an event on 14 January to unveil the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Pre-order is expected to start on the same day with retail availability slated for 29 January. The Galaxy S21 models should come in 6 colours: black, white, grey, silver, violet and pink.
Recent rumours have echoed the same launch period for the Galaxy S21; The Elec and @OnLeaks have claimed that the Galaxy S21 models could arrive in January 2021. In addition, @OnLeaks has shared purported renders of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
An updated render shows a rear camera module with five lenses on the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which should consist of two telephoto lenses, a 108MP sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and perhaps a ToF or laser autofocus sensor. The Galaxy S21 models could also follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 12 by not having a charger and earbuds in the retail box.
