Samsung has spent the past few weeks making two key improvements to the Galaxy Fold according to a Korean publication.

The protective layer on the display, which was removed by reviewers and caused the display issues, is now tucked into the body so that users will not be able to peel it off. The gap at the top and bottom of the hinge, which allows dirt, lint or other particles to enter, will be reduced to prevent debris from getting in.

The improved Galaxy Fold units are currently being tested with telcos in South Korea and the company might announce the release date later this month.
