Samsung Pay will be available on most Samsung phones starting from next year

Samsung Pay is currently limited to certain Samsung phone models such as the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy A5 (2016). Come next year, the mobile payment service will be supported on more Samsung handsets.

A Samsung official told Business Korea that the company will pre-install Samsung Pay in all Samsung phones except for some entry-level models. To support the rollout of its mobile payment service, Samsung is expected to equip its midrange models with fingerprint sensors. 

At time of publication, Samsung Pay is available in the U.S, Spain, Brazil, Singapore, Australia, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia and Thailand. It has partnered with over 500 major banks around the world and leading credit card companies.
