The One UI 7 interface also introduces Now Bar, an easy-access critical notification on the Lock Screen. Another crucial change is the redesigned camera user experience, where Samsung reorganised camera buttons, controls, and modes to make it easier for users to find camera features. Pro and Pro Video modes also see a simplified layout, with more preview and viewfinding room for photos and videos.

Other major updates include a multi-layered Knox Matrix dashboard for security status checks, a Maximum Restrictions feature to avoid automatic reconnection to certain Wi-Fi networks, a Safe Install feature for Auto Blocker that helps prevent unintentional app sideloading, and a new Identity Check opt-in feature that detects if the device’s PIN is compromised.
