How do you know if a phone’s physical change is a big deal to the brand? The answer: when they publish a teardown of their device, especially if they usually don’t do that.
Samsung's official press room has published a detailed breakdown of the Galaxy Z Fold6's components. This leaves little room for imagination and de-mystifies the layout of its premium-grade, book-style foldable mobile.
The breakdown is a little light on technical details. For example, Samsung touched on the smaller and slimmer hinge design that conforms with the phone’s lighter and slimmer build but didn’t say exactly what was altered from its previous design.
Another example is the wing plate. Samsung said it was made from “a special material” that “exerts strong force,” but it also doesn’t specify what’s so special or strong about this mystery substance.

What you do get to see, however, is the 1.6x larger vapour chamber for better thermal management. You can also see how the Galaxy Z Fold6 has two differently-sized batteries that achieve its 4,400mAh capacity.
