Samsung may opt to use its own Exynos chipsets for the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE next year.

Tipster @Jukanlosreve shared that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 could be powered by the Exynos 2500 while the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE will get the Exynos 2400e

In line with the FE branding, an earlier claim by Korean blogger yeux1122 states that the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE could come with an older processor, less RAM, less storage space, and less powerful camera hardware to keep its price tag affordable.

The Exynos 2500 is also rumoured to power the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, but Samsung is reportedly facing poor production yields of the 3nm chip and there are doubts if sufficient quantities could be ready in time for the launch.

Since the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE are likely to launch in the second half of next year, it could provide Samsung more time to address the unstable yield of the Exynos 2500.
